Health and Safety

At Roy Beech (Contractors) Ltd we always strive to exceed the minimum standards demanded by legislation.

We have a comprehensive Health and Safety Policy and our staff are trained to produce Method Statements, Risk and COSHH assessments to enable us to act as“Principal Contractor” as demanded by “The Construction (Design & Management) Regulations 1994 amended 2000”.

Our Health and Safety advisers are Construction Safety (N.S.) Ltd of 42 Stoke-on-Trent Enterprise Centre, Bedford Street, Shelton, Stoke-on-Trent, ST1 4PZ. They are members of The British Safety Council, The Institute Occupational Safety and Health and International Institute of Risk and Safety Management. Construction Safety (N.S.) Ltd advise us on all aspects of Health and Safety and regularly inspect our sites and report to our management staff.

We are accredited by ‘Constructionline’ and Safe Contractor (National Britannia) and on their register of services for the following categories:-

1. Civil Engineering

2. Road Works

3. Drains, Sewer and Pipelines

4. Black Top Macadam Surfacing

We have fully trained first aiders and approved first aid persons who are present on each and every Roy Beech (Contractors) Ltd site.
